Victim is:AdultChild & Infant
Breathing,
Has Pulse:
Place the victim in the Recovery PositionPlace the victim in the Recovery Position
Not Breathing, Has Pulse:
  • Clear the victim's AIRWAY
  • Give 1 rescue BREATH every 5 seconds (12 per minute)
  • Clear the victim's AIRWAY
  • Give 1 shallow rescue BREATH every 3 seconds (20 per minute)
Not Breathing,
No Pulse:
  • Clear the victim's AIRWAY
  • Give 2 rescue BREATHS
    AND
  • 30 chest COMPRESSIONS at a rate of 100 compressions per minute (Perform 5 breath/compression cycles in 2 minutes)
  • Clear the victim's AIRWAY
  • Give 2 shallow rescue BREATHS
    AND
  • 30 chest COMPRESSIONS at a rate of 100 compressions per minute (Perform 5 breath/compression cycles in 2 minutes)
